Melanie Eve
Davis
October 2, 1964 – October 14, 2021
Melanie Eve Davis was born October 2, 1964 at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Douglas Ray "Doug" and Sammie (Davis) Villines and passed away, Thursday, October 14, 2021 at home, at the age of 57 years and 12 days.
Melanie was raised and attended school in Weatherford, Oklahoma where she graduated in 1982. She was the ultimate caregiver, putting her kids above everything else. She was an active member at First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school, Girls in Action, Vacation Bible School; volunteering for church camps and the mission trip to Bakersfield. She was highly involved in her kids' extracurricular actives from swim team, track and field/cross country, tennis, dance, and Boy Scouts - becoming a second mom to all involved. She was strong, independent, free spirit whose biggest weakness was asking for help. She was always down for an adventure and loved concerts - especially the ones in the car. She loved spending time with her grandkids.
Melanie is survived by her mother, Sammie Villines; her husband, Burl Davis; her children, Tiffany Davis-Hernandez and husband AJ, Brandon Davis and wife Mindy, Luke Davis and Henry Davis; grandchildren, Sophia Davis, Adrian Hernandez, Theodore Hernandez, Dominic Hernandez and Julien Hernandez; three brothers, Dan Villines and wife Kay, Ben Villines and wife Terry, Stephen Villines and wife Danielle; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Doug Villines and brother Phillip Villines.
