Funeral services for Mary F. Simpson, 86 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home of Weatherford, Oklahoma with Greg Zoschak officiating, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home. Burial will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Tucumcari Memorial Park in Tucumcari, New Mexico under the direction of Dunn Funeral Home.

Mary was born to Ralph Maynard and Alpha Vera (Crutchfield) Hill on April 12, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Mary was raised in Tucumcari and attended school at St. Marys Academy in Amarillo, Texas, graduating in 1945. Mary married Weldon Murray in May of 1945. Later she returned to Tucumcari and became a radio dispatcher and the court clerk for 30 years. In May 1954, she married Ben Simpson. She enjoyed bowling, playing bunko, cross stitching and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Ralph Murray and his wife, Janice of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Ernest Simpson and his wife, Lou of Albuquerque, New Mexico; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Alpha Hill.
