Mary Beth Eakins was born to James and Grace (Carter) Palmer on December 17, 1958 in Weatherford, Oklahoma and died on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Mary Beth was raised in Hydro, graduating in 1977 and then attended college. Mary Beth worked for Transok for 20 years and Precision Tones for 12 years. She married Richard Eakins on May 11, 1996 in New Orleans, Louisiana, and they made their home in Hydro, Oklahoma. Mary Beth worked for MCE in Oklahoma City for 1 year. In 2003, they made their home in Oklahoma City before returning to Hydro in 2015. She enjoyed doing yard work, riding motorcycles, going to the lake and helping people. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Hydro.

She is survived by 4 sons, Cody Brooks and his wife, Magan of Hydro, Oklahoma, Colt Brooks of Eakly, Oklahoma, Richie Eakins of Meeker, Oklahoma and Dylan Eakins and Isa of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren, Hadley Brooks, Emma Rae Eakins and Erick Eakins; 2 special children, Logan and Jackson Picklehimmer; father, Jim Palmer of Hydro, Oklahoma; mother-in-law, Betty Eakins of Hydro, Oklahoma; and one brother, Roy Palmer. She is preceded in death by her mother, Grace; husband, Richard; 1 brother, Clint; 1 sister Linda.
