Mary Byrum Small was born January 11, 1961, in Clinton, Oklahoma to Luey and Orpha (Merrical) Ray and passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018, at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 57 years, 11 months, and 18 days.

Mary was raised and attended school in Weatherford. She married and made her home in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Mary was a CNA and worked in LittleBird Nursing Home, Weatherwood Assisted Living, Brookdale Assisted Living, and Subway. On July 4, 2016, she married Gary Small (the love of her life) in Weatherford. Mary enjoyed reading, crafts, spending time with grandchildren and family time traveling with Gary.

Mary is survived by her husband of two years, Gary Small of their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; three sons, Cory Byrum of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Christopher Byrum of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Chad Byrum and wife, Chelsea of Nebraska; two daughters, Chastidy Darling and husband, Randy of Panama City, Florida and Bethany Spann and husband, Terry of Custer City, Oklahoma; five brothers, Jack Ray and wife, Francis of Leedey, Oklahoma, Bill Ray and wife, Linda of Custer City, Oklahoma, Johnny Ray and wife, Karen of Weatherford, Oklahoma; Don Ray and Kenny Ray both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Lois Powers of Clinton, Oklahoma; and eighteen grandchildren, Kylie, Addyson, Aiden, Vash, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Isabella, Shannon, Charli, Aiden, Ender, Zoe, Kenzie, Dominic, Izzabell, Maysen, Savanah and Lily Beth. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Jerry, Tom and Tim; and one son, Kevin Byrum.
