Funeral services for Marjorie Ann Lovelace, 64 year-old Custer City resident, will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Freedom Worship Center in Thomas with Pastor Jerry Yoder officiating. Burial will follow in the Custer City Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Thomas.
Margie was born to Cecil and Felicia Norton on October 15, 1953 and passed away on January 16, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK. Margie was raised in Southwest Oklahoma and graduated from Duke High School. She attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she met Mike Lovelace. They married and made their home in Custer City. They later moved to the family farm outside of Custer City, where she enjoyed the farm life—tending to their animals and helping with the chores. She enjoyed cooking for her family, photography, painting, trips to Colorado and life on the farm. Margie will be remembered as a servant, dedicated to her church and loved the Lord.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Lovelace of Custer City, OK; her mother, Felicia Norton of Magnum, OK; three sons, Chad Lovelace and his wife, Roxey of Ardmore, OK, Cory Lovelace and his wife, Kristin of Edmond, OK, Kyle Lovelace and his wife, Kelsey of Custer City, OK; eight grandchildren; one brother, Eddie Norton of Magnum, OK; two sisters, Shirley Baird and her husband, Gary of Hobart and Jane Montague of Colorado Springs, CO. She is preceded in death by her father, Cecil Norton.
