Funeral service for Margery Ann (Goodin) Harper, 86 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Lynn Brack officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Margery was born on February 28, 1931 to Roy T. and Magdalana Ella (Damm) Goodin in Harrah, Oklahoma and passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Margery was raised and attended school in Weatherford, graduating from Weatherford High School with the Class of 1949. She attended Southwestern State College. In August of 1950 she married Odell Harper in Oklahoma City, OK and they made their home in Midwest City. They moved to Tulsa in 1960 where they raised their family. Margery and Odell returned to Weatherford in 2003. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, painting, and entertaining family and friends at home. Memorials may be made to assist with landscaping efforts at Weatherwood Assisted Living Memory Care.

Margery is survived by her husband, Odell Harper, of the home in Weatherford, OK; one daughter, Pamela Harper of Tulsa, OK; and three grandsons, Talon, Tevin, and Taydon. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Goodin; and one son, Terrel Dale Harper. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
