Graveside services for Margaret Martha Peggy (McLaughlin) Dunnington, 92 year-old Pueblo, Colorado resident, formerly of Clinton, Oklahoma, will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2014, 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Hydro Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Peggy went home to be with the Lord September 16, 2014. She was born in Anthony, Kansas, on August 23, 1922. Peggy grew up near Clinton, Oklahoma, where she met the love of her life, Olen, marrying in 1949. They moved to Pueblo, Colorado, in 1953, where they resided thereafter. Peggy was a devoted wife and mother, and she was a loving friend to all who knew her. She was an excellent cook, hosting parties into her 90s. Peggy enjoyed crafts, tending to her flowers and the camaraderie of the Vinewood gang. Peggys family was the center of her life. She was a caring, giving mother and grandmother, always doing without so others were fulfilled. Peggy never forgot a birthday or holiday and made sure everyone was included. She and Olen took care of each other for 65 years.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and six brothers. Survived by husband, Olen; son, Darryl (Patty) Dunnington; and daughter, Sherry (Tony) Romero; grandchildren, Derek Dunnington, Sarah Romero, Jenny Dunnington (James MacIndoe) and Thomas (Amber) Romero; with two great-grandchildren due soon; two sisters, Lena (Mark) Klein and Zora Sis (Greg) Nieto; and numerous nieces and nephews.
