Lowell Steven Holcomb was born in Selma, Alabama on June 13, 1962 to Lowell Dee and Sandra Ann (Lowder) Holcomb. He passed away in Oklahoma City on August 7, 2026 at the age of 64.

Growing up, Steve's father was in the Air Force. The family followed his military career to many communities: Okinawa, Japan, Burkburnett, TX, Del Rio, TX, Pecos, TX, and Cordell, OK. Steve attended grade school in Burkburnett and Del Rio and high school in Pecos. Dill City was the place he always called home, though. He spent his working years in the oil field, roofing and doing concrete work for Duininck Concrete.

Steve retired and became the primary caregiver for his father, along with his brother, Brandon. for the past 10 years, he has lived in Dill City.

Steve enjoyed playing pool, picking on his siblings and playing basketball. He especially loved watching football and baseball with his father. He will be remembered as a prankster, always entertaining everyone with his practical jokes.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Holcomb and brother, Andy Holcomb.

Steve is survived by his daughters and their families: daughter, Nicole Ash, her husband, Jeff, and their daughters, Ansley, Autum and Aftyn; daughter, Stephanie Jean Williams, her husband, Dallas, and their children, Brayden, Dallas, Jr., Madison and Bryce; and daughter, Emily Ann Limoges, her husband, Jeff and daughter, Haven. He is also survived by his father, Lowell Holcomb; sisters, Sandra Allen (Michael), Kathy Pankratz (John) and Jolene Burns; and brothers, David Holcomb (Linda) and Brandon Holcomb.
