Funeral services for Lorraine Buller, 84 year-old Hydro, Oklahoma resident, will be held Monday, November 16, 2015, 2:00 P.M. in Bethel Mennonite Church in Hydro, Oklahoma with Pastor Bob Sprunger officiating. Burial will be held Monday, November 16, 2015, 10:00 A.M. at Saron Mennonite Cemetery in Orienta, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Lorraine was born November 14, 1930, in Orienta, Oklahoma to John and Lena (Hiebert) Lohrenz and passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Lorraine was raised and attended a rural school west of Orienta and graduated from Oklahoma Bible Academy in Meno, Oklahoma in 1948. She attended Grace Bible Institute, Phillips University in Enid, OSU in Oklahoma City, and received her Bachelor of Science degree from SWOSU in nursing. On May 29, 1952, Lorraine married Ralph Leland Buller in Orienta, Oklahoma and they made their home in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Laredo and Lafayette, Louisiana. Ralph had a medical practice from 1960 to 1996 and she worked alongside of him as the office manager and his nurse. Lorraine enjoyed quilting, traveling, music, and spending time with her family. In lieu of flowers the family asks that each person attend church on Sundays and donate memorials to the Lords work at that church.
Lorraine is survived by two sons, Nathan Scott Buller of Binger, Oklahoma and Kevin Buller and wife, Ginni of Rural Retreat, Virginia; two daughters, Brenda Doane and husband, Mica of Meno, Oklahoma and Stephanie Buller of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother, Gene Lohrenz of Fairview, Oklahoma; one sister, Donna Nickel of Corn, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Steven Buller, David Buller, Luke Doane, Allyson Chupp, Kerri Buller, and Sarah Buller; and one great-granddaughter, Addison Buller. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Norman and Richard; and four sisters, Betty, Wanda, Anita, and Marley.
