Lois Jane Stoner was born July 23, 1930, in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, to Fred William and Verna Mary (Hoy) Waltz and passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Homestead of Weatherford, Oklahoma having reached the age of 92 years and 8 months.

Lois was raised in the State College, Pennsylvania area. She lived on several farms in the area. She graduated high school in State College in 1948.  In late 1950's, she married Elwood Milton "Woody" Stoner and made their home in Tusseyville, Pennsylvania. In 1974, Lois and her family relocated to Oklahoma, where she worked at SWOSU in the cafeteria and was receptionist for the Weatherford Daily News. Lois worked as a caregiver for many years, helping many families with their loved ones.  Lois enjoyed her grandchildren, working in her yard, staying active and spending time with family and friends.  She was a wonderful and loving mother; her family and friends will dearly miss her.

Lois is survived by two sons, Robert Barry Stoner and wife, Kitty of Port Matilda, Pennsylvania and Tim Stoner and wife, Cheri Marie of Clinton, Oklahoma; one daughter, Dottie Lee-Jacobson and husband, Randy of Watonga, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; ten brothers and sisters; daughter, Joanna Garmon; and grandson, Jason Goucher.
