Lois Darlene Engle was born to Homer and Phoebe (Jantz) Engle on January 14, 1946 in Thomas, OK and passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Grace Living Center in Clinton, OK having reached the age of 71 years, 10 months, 3 days.

Lois was raised south of Thomas on the family farm. She attended school at Custer City, graduating 1964. After high school she attended Messiah College in Gratham, Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in English. Lois taught school in Philadelphia for 13 years. Later returning to Oklahoma where she taught at Clinton Schools in the Special Education Programs before retiring. She loved her cats, and enjoyed reading, studying scripture and its meaning.

She is survived by one brother, Wayne Engle of Thomas, OK; one sister, Marilyn Tyson of Pottstown, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Phoebe Engle; three brothers, Kenneth, Merle and David.
