Funeral services for Linda Jean (Jerman) Jefferson, 72 year-old Weatherford resident, will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Trinity Baptist Church with Skylar Spradlin and Rod Neufeld officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Linda was born on November 14, 1943 to Benjamin and Jane (Leishman) Jerman in Newcastle, Pennsylvania and passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Grace Living Center in Clinton, OK. Linda was raised in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from Eastern District High School in 1961. In September of 1961, she married Benjamin C. Jefferson and they made their home in Brooklyn. In 1971 they moved to Weatherford. Linda worked in local nursing homes and hospitals as a CNA while she raised her family. Linda enjoyed helping others, playing with her dogs, and spending time with her family. Memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church.

Linda is survived by three sons, David Jefferson and wife Nina of Oxnard, CA, Tim Jefferson of Weatherford, OK, and Huw Jefferson and wife Lindsey of Norman, OK; two daughters, Shirley Jefferson and Ricardo Vella of Weatherford, OK and Diana Jefferson of Weatherford, OK; one sister, Gayle Jerman of Weatherford, OK; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
