Funeral services for Linda Allison Fansler, 77-year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019, 2:00 P.M. in "The Chapel" of Lockstone Funeral Home with Barry Rutherford and Aaron Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery, southeast of Fay, Oklahoma under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.
Linda was born August 5, 1941, in Breckenridge, Texas to William and Emma (Cox) Allison and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Linda was born in Breckenridge, TX on August 5, 1941. She graduated from Tulsa Central High school in 1959, then attended OSU, where she met then married her future husband Arlyn R. Fansler. She was a member of the Church of the First Born in Weatherford. Faith played a primary role in her life. As a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she loved unconditionally.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband Arlyn, her eldest son Brett Alan Fansler and his daughters Katie Wagner and Shantel Harlin, husband Peter Harlin and children, Gunnar, Sterling and Wrenna. Her daughter Traci Lynn (Fansler) McDougall, her husband Tye McDougall and daughter Kiley McDougall. Her youngest son Matthew Kibbee Fansler, wife Dori Fansler and children Ansley, Yukon and Walker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Billy Allison, her son Brian Fansler, sisters-in-law, Carolyn Parvin and Ruth Ann Dysart. Linda was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
