Funeral services for Lillie Mae Maynard, 85 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Monday, December 10, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Lille Mae was born May 7, 1927, south of Hydro, Oklahoma, to William Oscar and Maudy Marie (Ross) Harris and passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Lillie Mae was raised north of Colony, Oklahoma and attended Colony school where she graduated in 1946. On August 22, 1946, she married Ward Jay WJ Maynard in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Lillie Mae helped her husband take care of the golf courses in Elk City and in Weatherford. Lillie Mae enjoyed golfing, fishing, and being with her family and grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Weatherford Golf Course.

Lillie Mae is survived by three sons, Vernon Maynard and wife, Kathy of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Roy Maynard and wife, Nelda of Concho, Oklahoma, and John Maynard and wife, Georgia of El Reno, Oklahoma; one daughter, Joyce Ridley of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one brother, Donnie Harris of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one sister, Mary Lou Schmidt; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W.J.; two brothers, Delmer and Elmer; three sisters, Dorothy, Margaret, and Della Fay Harris; and an infant daughter, Dorothy Lanelle.
