Funeral services for Lila Rose Kersey, 74 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014, 2:00 P.M. in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Lila was born January 12, 1940, to Siggard Peter and Bernice Rose (Smith) Ahrensbach in Brigham City, Utah and passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Corn Heritage Village of Corn, Oklahoma. Lila was raised and attended school in Long Beach, California and graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1958. On May 9, 1958, she married Harvey Kersey and made their home in Long Beach, California where they raised their family. In 1978, they moved to Weatherford to be near family. Lila enjoyed reading, and doing art work of drawing and painting.

Lila is survived by two daughters, Elaine Carn and husband, Robert of Alvarado, Texas and Sheila McGee of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren, Kelsey Schones and husband, Blake; Lauren Cox and husband, Rob; Douglas Wolfe; and Tucker McGee. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Bob; and one sister, Joan.
