Leslie Wayne Dickerson was born March 8, 1958, in Enid, Oklahoma to Dortha Jane (Heinrichs) and Donald Wayne Dickerson and passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Weatherford Regional Hospital in Weatherford, Oklahoma, at the age of 59 years, 8 months, and 24 days.

Leslie was raised in the Clinton and Elk City areas. During his senior year of high school, his family moved to El Reno, Oklahoma and he graduated with the El Reno High School, class of 1976. After high school, he worked in construction and the oil field, later serving time in the Army. After the Army, he married and made his home in El Reno where he raised his family. In 1987, Leslie retired to the Custer county area, finally settling for good in Hydro in 2002. Leslie enjoyed motorcycles, dove hunting, target shooting, cooking, and working hard.

Leslie is survived by his father, Wayne Dickerson of El Reno, Oklahoma; one son, Patrick Dickerson of Hydro, Oklahoma; two daughters, Susan Dickerson of Hydro, Oklahoma and Tamara Dickerson of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; three brothers, Larry Dickerson and wife, Debra of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Lowell Dickerson and wife, Shelley of Yukon, Oklahoma, Wayne Olmstead and wife, Eliza of Laverne, Oklahoma; two sisters, Linda Maddox and husband, Jay of Dothan, Alabama, Jennie Benge and husband, Rick of Enid, Oklahoma; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother; one brother, Rick Pace; and two brothers in infancy.
