Memorial services for LeRoy Wilson Wilhelm will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 2:00 PM in The Chapel at Lockstone Funeral Home with Rocky McElvany officiating.

LeRoy Wilson Wilhelm was born on December 19, 1943 to Henry and Arlyne (Wilson) Wilhelm in Cordell, Oklahoma and passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at his home near Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. LeRoy was raised and attended school in Burns Flat, Oklahoma where he graduated from Burns Flat High School with the Class of 1962. He attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater where he earned a bachelor degree in Mechanical Science. He taught vocational technology for 10 years and owned and operated a heat and air business in Elk City for 25 years. He later worked as a mechanical field inspector and supervisor for Oklahoma State Department of Health for 14 years until retiring in 2001. LeRoy was an avid woodworker and fisherman. He enjoyed spending his time with family and friends, cooking and smoking meats, attending auctions and teaching people. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

LeRoy is survived by his wife, Mary Beth Wilhelm of the home; three sons, David Wilhelm and his wife Candee of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Mikal Wilhelm of Ranger, Georgia, and Jon Welch of Moore, Oklahoma; one daughter, Kari Brandon and husband Todd of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; five brothers, Terry Wilhelm of Clinton, Oklahoma, Bill Wilhelm of Wales, UK, Tommy Wilhelm and wife Mary of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Ricky Wilhelm and wife Mary Ann of Lake Texoma, and Larry Wilhelm and wife Daina of Quitman, Arkansas; three sisters, Carol Ann Green of Shelbyville, Tennessee, Sue Kinder and husband Gary of Tuttle, Oklahoma and Jane Cosgrave and husband Richard of Tuttle, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, H.D. Wilhelm.
