LeAnna Marie (Pitzer) Evetts was born on February 3, 1975 to Jackie Eugene and Rebecca Ann (Black) Pitzer in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She passed away on January 10, 2026 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 50.
LeAnna was raised in Hydro, Oklahoma and graduated from Hydro-Eakly High School in 1993. During her school years, she was active in basketball and FFA and was always surrounded by friends. After high school, she attended Caddo Kiowa Technology Center and earned her LPN. Throughout the years, LeAnna worked in hosptials, nursing homes and the Veterans Center. She was passionate about nursing and loved helping others.
LeAnna met Colby Evetts in 2005 at the Veterans Center in Clinton, where they were working together. Their first date was at the Hydro Free Fair, which got rained out, so the couple improvised and continued their night at Braum's. Leanna and Colby were married on November 7, 2009 at the First Christian Church. They made their home and raised their daughter, Aubrey, in Hydro.
LeAnna was baptized in the First Christian Church and remained a faithful and devoted member throughout her life. She had many hobbies including crafting, decorating, painting and gardening. LeAnna loved her dogs and her favorite dog was named Sox. She loved spending time with her friends and family and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, daughter-in-law and aunt.
LeAnna was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Pitzer; brother-in-law, Cheyenne Evetts; and great-nieces, Peytin Goossen and Danica Blood. She is survived by her husband, Colby; daughter, Aubrey; parents, Jack and Becky; parents-in-law, Tony and Connie Evetts; niece, Taylor and husband Gabriel Mendoza; great-nieces, Ryleigh Goossen, Jalen Longoria and Hendrix Pitzer; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
