October 14, 1962 – November 2, 2024
Larry was born October 14th, 1962, to Elizabeth Wanda Holiday and Gary Middleton. He joined his loved ones in Heaven on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024.
Larry grew up in Rock Springs, Wyoming where he became professional at driving in the snow and ice and earned a national champion title in high school wrestling. As the oldest of his siblings, Larry always looked out for his brothers and sisters and did his very best to make sure he was there for anything they needed. Larry lived all over the country but landed in California. In 1989, Larry welcomed his daughter, Chantelle, into the world. A few years later Larry moved to Oklahoma, where he met his wife, Teresa Middleton. The two were married in 2011 and built a life together in Weatherford. Larry had a passion for auto body work and attended WTC in Burns Flat to earn his GED and his certification for auto body and collision repair. He worked painting freight liners, ambulances and airplanes in his career.
Larry was known for being a kind person that was always up for having fun. Earning him the nickname "Wino". His friends and family will always remember the good times that were had with him.
Larry was very loved and cared for by the incredible staff at Maple Lawn Nursing and Rehab in Hydro. The family would like to extend our greatest appreciation for the staff that cared for Larry.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Gary Middleton; nephew Scott Taylor; and his niece, Silya Lee.
Larry is survived his is wife, Teresa Middleton of Weatherford; his mother, Elizabeth Wanda Holiday of Brownstown, Indiana; his daughter, Chantelle McCraw and husband, Reese of Thomas; Teresa's sons, Charles Milacek of California, Aaron Lanier of Norman, Jake Lanier and wife Tricia of Weatherford, and Sean Lanier of Weatherford; step-son, Timothy Dooty and wife, Angela; and step-daughter, Lynn Troup and wife, Tonya. His brothers, Howard Wines, Gary Middleton, Robyn Middleton, and Matt Middleton. His sisters, Rhonda Shepherd, Gina Taylor, Cheri Wines, Denita Woods, Carmen Senesac, Erica Case, and Alisha Middleton. Larry also leaves behind many nieces and nephews including his namesake, Larry Butterfield, and great-nieces and nephews that he loved so dearly.
