LaNell Rae McCammon was born June 26, 1937, in Hydro to Barney Earl and Velma Marjorie (Klinder) King and passed away, Thursday, December 17, 2020, at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, at the age of 83 years, 5 months, and 21 days.

LaNell was raised and attended school in Hydro, graduating with Hydro High School in 1955.  She married and made their home in Amarillo where she went to beauty school and ran her own shop.  In 1972, LaNell moved to Hydro and later moved to Weatherford.  On November 11, 1978, she married Carl Ray "Butch" McCammon in Walters and made their home in Weatherford.  She owned and operated LaNell's Beauty Shop for over 40 years. After retiring she volunteered at Weatherford Regional Hospital as a Volunteer.  LaNell enjoyed traveling, decorating, her YMCA time, working in her flower beds and gardening, and spending time with family and friends.  Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.

LaNell is survived by her husband of 42 years, Butch McCammon of their home in Weatherford; two daughters, Vicki Clark of College Station, Texas and Rhonda Payne and husband, Brent of Weatherford; one step-daughter, Debbie Colwill and Steve Sanford of Mesquite, Texas; one step-son, Michael Mason and wife Ronda of Lewisville, Texas; one brother, Jack King and wife, Mary of San Diego, California; one sister, Lynn Webb and husband, Paul of McKinney, Texas; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
