Obituary

Kyle Jodane Ward was born in Atoka, Oklahoma on February 19, 1969 to Frank Joseph and Brenda Joyce (Cook) Ward. He passed away in Weatherford, Oklahoma on September 4, 2026 at the age of 57.

Kyle was raised in Kingfisher and Vici where he went to elementary and junior high school where he played youth baseball and graduated from Seiling High School with the Class of 1987. After high school, he worked as a Correctional Officer at Dewey County Jail. He then attended Redlands Community College, earned an Associate Degree in Emergency Medical Technology and became a Paramedic.

For the next 40 years, Kyle made a life working as a Paramedic. Thirty of these years were spent in Weatherford working for Sinor and American Medical Response. He also worked for Pafford EMS in Okmulgee County.

Over the years, Kyle dedicated his time to his children as a single dad. He stayed busy attending all of their school events. He also enjoyed going to the lake, camping and fishing. Watching football was also a favorite past time, especially the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburg Steelers.

Kyle is survived by sons, Dylan, Dalton and Matthew Ward; daughter, Savannah Ward; mother, Brenda Ward; father, Frank Ward and his wife, Susie; brothers, Kurtis Ward and his wife, Cindi and Todd Ward and his wife, Heather. He also leaves behind his fiance, Monica Dew.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2026 at the Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home. His final resting place will be at Brumfield Cemetery, north of Seiling, Oklahoma.
