Kirk Allen
Peachy
September 28, 1984 – March 1, 2019
Funeral service for Kirk Allen Peachy, 34 year-old Custer City resident, will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM at First Christian Church of Custer City with Doyle Kinney officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Thomas.
Kirk, son of Leroy and Elizabeth Peachy was born on September 28, 1984 in Elkhart, Indiana to Lori Slauf and passed away on March 1, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.
At the age of five he joined the Peachy family in Pennsylvania and later moved to Thomas, Oklahoma with his family at the age of nine. When he was 16 years-old he moved to Florida. While in Florida he met his first wife and was married and they returned to Thomas where they made their home and were joined by their daughter Julie. He was remarried on February 11, 2009 to Mercedes Ramirez and they made their home in Custer City. Together they raised their two children, Chizum in 2009 and Serena in 2013. He worked for Red Rock Construction for nearly 10 years before starting Custer City Chainsaw, a tree trimming and landscaping business.
Kirk enjoyed working and joked that it was his favorite hobby. He will be remembered as a great father to his children and enjoyed spending time teaching them about the world and sharing his knowledge with them—and also bringing them to work with him. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, riding ATVs and three-wheelers, and his dogs—Lady Bird and Lilly.
