Kim (Phuong) Maher was born to Hau Vo and Tinh Nguyen on October 10, 1944 in Saigon, Vietnam and passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 in Thomas, Oklahoma having reached the age of 76 years 8 month, 3 days.

Kim was raised in Saigon, Vietnam. In 1969, she married William B. Maher in Saigon, Vietnam.  At this time, Kim was working for the United States Government under a Four Start General. In 1971 Kim, Bill, and their two small children left Vietnam to make a life for themselves in the United States. Prior to moving to Thomas, Oklahoma, Kim resided in Ventura, California where she owned her own Beauty Salon, Kim's Perfect Touch.  They bought the Nite Owl Motel in Thomas in 2006, where she was still active in running the motel. Kim enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time at her Koi pond.

She is survived by one son, William C. Maher and his wife Laura of Camarillo, California; one daughter, Kim L. Maher of Thomas, Oklahoma; two sisters and one brother. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister, and husband.
