Kent Allen Hamburger was born November 24, 1963, in Roswell, New Mexico to Dale Leroy and Neta Kay (Cochran) Hamburger and passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, at the age of 59 years and 20 days.

Kent was raised and attended school in Kaw City and Ponca City and graduated from Ponca City High School.  After high school he enlisted in the Army serving in 3 combat tours, Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom.  Kent went on to earn an Associate Degree in welding.  He settled on the family farm in Weatherford.  Kent specialized in tank welding, traveling all over the country.  He worked at WW Steel until he retired in 2008.  Kent was a member of the Boiler Makers Union and VFW Post 6142.

Kent is survived by his brother, Keith L. Hamburger; step-mother, Eileen Hamburger; two step-sisters, Debbie and Stephanie; step-brother, Mike; numerous cousins that loved him dearly.  He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Hamburger; mother, Neta Kay Cochran; and daughter, Brenda Jo Hamburger.
