Kathryn was born on March 26, 1934, in Weatherford, to Edward David and Gladys Marie (Jobe) Smith and passed away at the age of 89 years, 6 month and 19 days on Sunday, October 15th, 2023, in Oklahoma City .

Kathryn was raised and attended school in Weatherford, where she met her future husband, Charles Donald Robnett. They married in her home on June 13th, 1952, and were together for 43 years.

Kathryn is survived by three sons, Edward Robnett and wife Dinah of Bixby, Scott Robnett of Bethany, Kris Robnett of Somerville, MA; one daughter, Kem Marie Mendizabal of Weatherford; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, David Leon Smith and Marshall Smith.

Her husband Don's work involved moves for the family to several places around the state and in Kansas, Ohio, New Jersey, New York, and finally back to Weatherford.  Kathryn and Don made many friends, especially within the Church of Christ, where they became members wherever they went.

After all the children entered school, Kathryn worked at different places, notably at Thomas Jefferson Medical School in Philadelphia, and was a teller at 1st National Bank in Weatherford for 24 years.

In her later years, Kathryn travelled to Israel with her beloved Aunt Goldie, and later around the country and to Europe with First Friends and The Red Hat Society.

Kathryn retired from First National Bank in 2005.  Her health declined slowly in the last few years, and she was surrounded by her children when she stepped from this life to the next.  She was loved by all and will be greatly missed, and will be joined again on that wonderful reunion day.
