Kathleen Maynard, was born on February 9, 1944 to Nathan and Mable (Johnstone) Reynolds in Buffalo, New York and passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, at the age of 74 years, 7 months, and 27 days.

Kathleen was raised in Buffalo, New York where she graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in 1961. She trained as a nurse in New York. She moved to Oklahoma in 1967 and earned her LPN from Western Technology Center in Oklahoma. She married V.J. Maynard on January 11, 1980 and they made their home in Weatherford. She worked as nurse in nursing homes and hospitals around Weatherford. She retired from the Clinton VA Center in 2006. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her family—especially her grandkids, fishing, and reading.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, V.J. Maynard of the home in Weatherford; one son, Jeff Maynard; two daughters, Julie Ryan and husband Rick, and Jennifer Staggs and husband Paul, all of Weatherford; one sister, Barbara Martorana of Amhearst, New York; twelve grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Gregory; one daughter, Stacy Cox; and two grandchildren, Tiffany Patterson and Jesse Ryan.
