Kasey Dwayne Kliewer was born March 1, 1982, in Weatherford, Oklahoma to John and Lori (Schmidt) Kliewer and passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Weatherford, Oklahoma, at the age of 36 years, 6 months, and 11 days.
Kasey was raised in Weatherford and accepted Christ at a very young age. He graduated from Corn Bible Academy with the Class of 2001. He earned a Bachelor Degree – Parks and Recreation Management from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, graduating in 2006. In 2004, Kasey met Haley Berry while attending SWOSU and they were married July 8, 2006 in Texhoma, Oklahoma. Kasey and Haley made their home north of Weatherford and they were blessed with their children Sadie in 2008, Tyler in 2011, and Rhett in 2015. Kasey worked at Chesapeake Energy for 11 years as an instruments and electronics technician. Kasey was known to light up a room with his big smile and big heart and was often joking around with friends and family. He enjoyed volunteering as a coach for his children's activities, and was an avid hunter and fisherman, but most import to him was sharing Christ with his children and others, and was an active church member. Memorials may be made to the Kasey Kliewer Memorial Fund at First National Bank of Weatherford.
Kasey is survived by his wife of 12 years, Haley of their home in Hydro, Oklahoma; one son, Tyler; two daughters, Sadie and Rhett all of the home; parents, John and Lori Kliewer of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one brother, Brad Kliewer and wife, Jaye of Hemet, California and their children, Kenna, Kace and Krue; one sister, Melissa McCoy and husband, Josh of Dewey, Oklahoma and their children, Lily Ann, Ryder, Ryleigh, and Maxwell; mother-in-law, Linda Berry of Texhoma; and one brother-in-law, Walt Berry and wife, Nikie of Stratford, Texas and their children, Katelin and Payton. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kandice Marie Kliewer; father-in-law, Jim Berry; and brother-in-law, Wade Berry.
