Karla Kay Megli was born May 1, 1951, to Jerry Lee and Irva Jean (Appleman) Megli and passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 16 days.

Karla was raised and attended school in Oklahoma City and graduated from Putnam City High School. When Karla was growing up she spent summers with her grandparents, Irvin and Myrtle Appleman on the farm north of Hydro which had been purchased by her great-grandparents, O.F. and May Appleman in 1937.  She moved to that farm in Hydro in 1977.  Karla worked for Bokay's by Nina for a total of 12 years delivering flowers.  She would always leave you with a smile.  She enjoyed fishing, spending time with friends and taking her "boys" for a drive.  Karla loved all her dogs, especially Cinnamon.

Karla is survived by two nephews, Scott Wright and son, Tayden Wright of Bethany and Kelly Wright and wife, Jamie, and sons, Braylen and Brody Wright. Karla was loved by all of Hydro and Weatherford. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ricky Megli and her sister, Toni Wright.
