Judith Earlita "Judy" Pitt was born November 4, 1942, in Weatherford to Earl Ambrose and Leona (Dunnington) Johnson and passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, at the age of 79 years, 3 months and 19 days.

Judy was raised and attended school in Hydro, graduating from Hydro High School.  She earned an associate degree in business.  Judy worked in the administrative office at the Oklahoma State Capital in Oklahoma City.  She returned to Hydro in 1964 where she worked at the Bank of Hydro and later Davis Insurance Company.  She transitioned to working with her father and brother at the Johnson Peanut Company until 1995. She then worked at Golden Peanut Company in Anadarko until retiring in 2005.  Judy enjoyed watching her grandchildren in all of their activities; was an avid reader; and loved cooking for family and friends.  She was highly respected for her knowledge in the peanut business.  Judy was an active member of the First Baptist Church.  Memorials may be made to the Hydro First Responders or to St. Jude's Hospital.

Judy is survived by her two daughters, Becky Hart and husband Chad of Kingfisher and Charlotte Perry of Hydro; two sons, H.D. Pitt and wife, Holly of Owasso and Terry Pitt of Hydro; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren with one on the way.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ronnie Johnson; son-in-law, Terral Perry; and maternal grandmother, Mable Dunnington.
