Judith Ann
Hoffman
March 4, 1937 – October 29, 2023
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Ann Hoffman, a pillar of our family and friend to everyone she met. A woman of grace and compassion, Judy was called home to her eternal rest on October 29, 2023, at the age of 86.
Born on March 4, 1937, in Spring Valley, Wisconsin, Judy's life was a testament to love, kindness, and unwavering dedication. She touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her, and her presence will forever be deeply missed.
Judy was a devoted wife, cherished mother, and doting grandmother. Left to honor her memory are her beloved husband, Norbert Hoffman of Weatherford, and her children: Mark Hoffman of Weatherford, Scott Hoffman of Weatherford, Todd Hoffman of Tulsa, Michelle Douglas of Weatherford, and Allison Flannigan of Oklahoma City. She nurtured her family with immeasurable love and was their unwavering source of strength and support.
She is survived by her siblings Charlotte Netzer of Folsom, CA, June Webb of Palm Desert CA, and Cindy Freeman of Rochester, WA
She is preceded in death by her father, Harley Larrieu, mother, Julia Larrieu, Brothers, John and Mike Larrieu, and sister Susan Bonaventura.
Throughout her life, Judy was guided by her faith and was an active member of St. Eugene's Catholic Church. She found solace and spiritual fulfillment through her dedicated worship and as an organist for many years.
Judy served the Weatherford community for many years. She dedicated four decades of her life to the Weatherford Hospital Auxiliary, selflessly giving her time and energy to support the needs of patients and families. Additionally, Judith spent many years as a secretary at Burcham Elementary School, making a lasting impact on the lives of countless students, and finally she loved volunteering at the Heartland Museum and the Et Cetera Shop.
Beyond her commitments, Judith took great pleasure in pursuing her passions. She found joy in tap dancing and playing the piano, using these artistic expressions to brighten the lives of those around her.
There will be Rosary Wake at 7:00 pm on Friday, November 3rd at the Lockstone funeral home in Weatherford. The funeral service will take place at 10:00 am on November 4th, 2023, at St. Eugene's Catholic Church, 704 N Bryan Street, Weatherford, Oklahoma. The burial service will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the St. Eugene's Catholic Church Ladies Guild Committee, an organization close to Judith's heart.
Let us cherish the memories we shared and find solace in the knowledge that Judith's spirit will forever shine brightly in our hearts. May God rest her soul in eternal peace and may her legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire us all.
