Mass of Christian Burial for Juanita Marie (Ponce) Garcia, 58 year-old Hydro, OK resident, will be held Friday, January 3, 2013 at 3:00 PM at St. Eugene Catholic Church in Weatherford, Oklahoma with Reverend Christopher Tran officiating. Burial will follow at the Eakly Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home. A Wake service will be held Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 8:00 P.M. in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Juanita Ponce Garcia was born on March 6, 1955 to Domingo Ponce and Maria Espinosa and passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.

Juanita was raised Northeast of Carnegie. She graduated from Carnegie High School in 1974. Juanita married Alberto Garcia in Oklahoma City, OK on April 17, 1976 and they made their home in Hydro, OK. She worked for the 3-M Company for 17 years. She also worked for Maple Lawn Manor Nursing Home in Hydro, OK as an Aid and Social Services Director. She enjoyed reading, flower beds, and time with her grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Integris Baptist Hospital, Transplant Unit in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Juanita is survived by her husband, Alberto Garcia of the home; one son Lucio Garcia of Edmond, Oklahoma; one daughter Angelica Exinia and her husband Andy of Hydro, OK; four brothers, Abel Salazar and wife Becky, Marty Salazar and wife Tricy, Frank Ponce and wife Rachel, John Salazar and wife Alice; two sisters, Connie Ramos and husband Demaso, and Sylvia Eppihimer and husband Curtis; two grandchildren, Divina and Elania. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Lucio Domingo; and one brother Ben.
