Juan Jose Benavidez was born September 18, 1936 in Dilley, TX to Jose and Juanita (Esquera) Benavidez passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 in Oklahoma City, OK having reached the age of 85 years, 3 months 18 days.

Juan was raised in Dilley, TX where he grew up farming. He Later moved to Seminole, TX. From there he had moved to Colony in 1970 where he lived and helped his parents. Soon after their passing he moved to Dallas with his niece and then to Watonga in 2019. Juan enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, tinkering with small engine repairs and working on the farm with all the animals.

Juan is survived by his brother, Rudy Benavidez of Washington, DC and numerous nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents.
