Funeral services for Joyce Gwendolyn Cook, 82 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016, 10:00 A.M. at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Jerry Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Joyce was born April 14, 1934 in Duluth, Minnesota, to Glenford and Edna (Oswald) Duncan and passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at her home in Weatherford. Joyce was raised and attended school in southern California. On September 5, 1953, she married Leonard Cook and made their home in Garden Grove, California where she worked for Collins. Joyce worked for Motorola when they moved to Mesa, Arizona in 1968. They moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma in 1982. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and bowling. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Joyce is survived by two daughters, Lynnette Wakefield and husband, Robert of Florence, Arizona and Linda Bushong and husband, David of Weatherford, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Brian Duncan; and son, Lee Roy Cook.
