Joyce JaNelle Bomhoff was born December 19, 1937, in Cordell to Pete E. and Jewell Mae (Redin) Hornbeck and passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020 at her home in Weatherford surrounded by her family having reached the age of 82 years, 5 months 18 days.

Joyce was raised and attended school in Weatherford. She married Vernon Lee Bomhoff in 1977 and were married for 44 years. Joyce enjoyed collecting antiques, traveling, gardening and shopping at one of her favorite stores, Hobby Lobby. She loved all the beautiful flowers and gardens.

Joyce is survived by two sons, Tony Holly and wife, Sheila of Bonham, Texas and Vaughn Avritt and wife, Carolyn of Weatherford; brother, Bud Hornbeck of Eakly; four grandchildren, Christi (Holly) Harrington of San Diego , CA, LaVonna (Avritt) McDonald of Weatherford, Dustin Avritt and Cody Avritt both of Weatherford, OK; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Vernon.
