May 30, 1942 – December 5, 2025
Joseph Steven Klepczyk, 83, of Weatherford, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in his home on December 5, 2025, in Weatherford. He was born on May 30, 1942, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to John Klepczyk and Anna (Bordzynski) Klepczyk.
On February 19, 1965, Joseph married Gail Veach in Miami, Florida. Together they built a life and family during their years of marriage, and although their marriage later ended in divorce, they remained connected through their children and the family they created. Joseph especially cherished the time he spent with his family in his later years.
Joseph began his career as an airline mechanic with Eastern Airlines, where he took great pride in his work and enjoyed the challenge of understanding how things functioned. He later became a respected residential and commercial contractor, well-known for his craftsmanship, integrity, and the care he put into every project.
Gifted with a love for creating, Joseph enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life. He spent countless hours building and flying remote-controlled airplanes, designing detailed model train layouts, and assembling intricate models of all kinds. He also loved working on cars and tackling any project that let him work with his hands. Above all, Joseph loved God, and he continually sought to learn all he could about His Word.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, John Klepczyk. He is survived by his children, Nicole (Nicky) Klepczyk of Weatherford, Brian Robert Klepczyk and wife, Prissi of Hot Springs, AR, and Kathleen (Kathy) Gregory and husband, Kenny of Weatherford; his grandchildren, Kaylin Lee, Noah Klepczyk, Elijah Klepczyk, Aidan Klepczyk, Aubrey Klepczyk, Hannah Gregory, and Jaken Gregory; his sister-in-law, Linda Klepczyk; and his nieces, Heather McLain and Lisa Klepczyk.
Joseph will be remembered for his creativity, his warmth, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the many things he built and in the hearts of all who knew him.
