Joseph "Joey" Allen Helt was born December 5, 1987, in Weatherford, to Glenn and Patty Helt and passed away October 9, 2023, in Chino Valley, Arizona.

Joey was raised in Weatherford and attended Weatherford schools where he was active in basketball and football.  He was a hard worker and worked since the age of 16, holding various jobs from fast food to oilfield to lumber companies.  Recently working for Builders Lumber Company in Prescott, Arizona.  Joey loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting hiking, camping, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Joey is survived by wife, Sara; daughter, Destiney; son, Destree all of Chino Valley, Arizona; parents, Glenn and Patty Helt of Weatherford; sister, Dondra Hollan and husband, Jason and their children, Hailey and Mason Hollan all of Weatherford; and grandmother, Dorothy Schmidt of Corn.  He was preceded in death by grandparents, Floyd Schmidt and Joe and Edith Helt.
