John Keith Thornhill was born February 2, 1953, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, to Glenn and Venita (Wells) Thornhill and passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018, in Kermit, Texas, at the age of 65 years, 6 months, and 5 days.

Keith was raised and attended school in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1971. He worked for Custer County for 2 years before working for 3-M/Imation for 38 years. February 26, 1990, Keith married his soul mate Mary Penner in Arapaho, Oklahoma, making their home in Weatherford. To this union a daughter was born, Hali, the love of his life. He worked for Chesapeake and was currently working for SKW/MEC for the last 5 years. Keith enjoyed going to the lake, water skiing, golfing, old cars, anything outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. He loved sitting on the back porch, just thinking. He will be remembered as a kind man to all. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Keith is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mary Thornhill of their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; one daughter, Hali Thornhill of Edmond, Oklahoma; his mother, Venita Thornhill and aunt, Neatha Lewis of Clinton, Oklahoma; three sisters, Maureen Radke and husband, James of Clinton, Oklahoma, Glenna Thornhill and son, Jason of Weatherford, Oklahoma, and Twila Owens and husband, Joe of Woodward, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Lynn Wood and husband, Scott of Glen Rose, Texas; brother-in-law, Tony Willis and wife, Denise of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; and mother-in-law, Billie Kerdus of Weatherford, Oklahoma. He adored all of his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Thornhill.
