John Randall "Randy" Butterbaugh was born September 10, 1957, in Omaha, Nebraska, to John and Hazel (Smith) Butterbaugh and passed away Friday, May19, 2023, at Weatherford Regional Hospital, at the age of 65 years, 7 months and 9 days.

Randy was raised in California until the age of 9 when the family moved to the Corn and Colony area.  He graduated from Corn High School and went on to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University for two years.  In August of 1995, Randy married Carolyn Easter and made their home in Weatherford.  He worked at United Supermarket and 3-M which later was renamed to Imation.  Randy enjoyed fishing with his brothers and teaching his nieces and nephews how to fish, listening to music, and visiting with family and friends.  Memorials may be made to the VFW.

Randy is survived by his wife of 27 years, Carolyn Crosby of their home in Weatherford; one son, Chris Crosby and his wife, Stephanie of Weatherford; three brothers, Mike Butterbaugh of Corn, Craig Butterbaugh of Weatherford and Tim Butterbaugh of Corn; two sisters, Jane Hogan of Yukon and Cheryl Veal of Clinton; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Chad Crosby.
