John Wayne Moore was born to Joe and Beatrice (Murray) Moore on August 7, 1932 in Custer City, OK and passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022, in River Valley Skilled Nursing and Therapy Center in Clinton, OK having reached the age of 90 years, 3 months and 5 days.

Wayne was raised in the Custer City and Butler area and attended school in Custer City. He went to work for the Kansas railroad. Wayne served in the US Army from 1952 to 1956. He married Marjorie West on June 2, 1959 and they made their home in Arizona. He worked for Shades Trucking Company for 20 years and later for R & R trucking. On July 8, 1995, Wayne married Sara Josephine Raymond and they made their home in Arizona. In 1999, they moved to Thomas, OK. Wayne enjoyed fishing, his horses and spending time with his grandchildren.

Wayne is survived by one son, Arron Moore and wife, Kayla of Thomas, OK; two daughters, Sandra Rohman and Deanna Leiler both of Phoenix, Arizona; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and five brothers, Curtis, Joe, Ray, Lawrence and Louie.
