John Edward Caskey was born to Ervil and Ruth (Frymire) Caskey on September 26, 1932, southwest of Thomas, OK and passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 23 days.

John was raised 3 miles north of Thomas and had attended a Rural School. John graduated from Thomas in 1950. After high school he married Dorothy Wanzer on Oct 10, 1950 and they made their home northwest of Thomas. John and family moved to Wichita, KS where John worked for Boeing for 19 years. Moving to Tulsa where he worked for American Airlines. John worked at 3M Company in Weatherford before retiring at the age of 62. John begin farming at the age of 50 and continued until his death. He enjoyed his family, kids, and grandkids. John loved God and his church. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Thomas.

He is survived by his three sons, John Calvin Caskey and his wife, Ellen (Tootie) of Hayesville, KS, Richard Caskey of Thomas, OK, and Kenneth Dale Caskey and his wife, Christiane of Frisco, TX; one daughter, Susan Carol Beck and her husband, Mike of Douglas, KS; one brother, Carl Caskey and his wife, Faye of North Field, MN; twelve grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ervil and Ruth Caskey.
