Joanna Jane Garmon was born on April 13, 1958, in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania to Elwood and Lois Jane (Waltz) Stoner and passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Watonga, at the age of 60 years, 9 months, 19 days.

Joanna grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma in 1974. She graduated from Weatherford High School in 1976 and entered the military and served in the US Navy in 1977 &1978. She soon married Corky Goucher in Weatherford and they had a daughter, Courtney and a son, Jason. She attended nursing school at Western Technology Center in Burns Flat and obtained her L.P.N license and cared for long-term care patients in Weatherford, Enid, Watonga and Geary. Joanna married Larry Garmon on April 3, 1991 in Weatherford and they made their home in Watonga. Joanna loved her family, her patients and she especially loved spending time with her eight grandchildren.

Joanna is survived by her husband, Larry of their home in Watonga, Oklahoma; her daughter, Courtney Goucher of Enid, Oklahoma; her son, Christopher Garmon of Fay, Oklahoma; her mother, Lois Jane Stoner of Weatherford, Oklahoma; her sister, Dottie Jacobson and brother-in-law, Randy of Watonga, Oklahoma; two brothers, Barry Stoner and sister-in-law, Kitty of Port Matilda, Pennsylvania and her brother, Tim Stoner of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and her eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, and one son, Jason Goucher.
