Funeral services for Jessa Lou Monigold, 82 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of Christ with Bruce Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Jessa Lou was born October 3, 1930 in Hydro, Oklahoma to Glen and Ruby (Eads) Rolan and passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 in Corn Heritage Village of Weatherford. Jessa Lou was raised and attended school in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1948. On December 18, 1948, she married Lee Monigold and made their home in Clinton, Oklahoma. Jessa Lou and Lee moved their family to Weatherford in 1966. She worked as a secretary for Al Harris while he was with the Clinton Public Schools and Southwestern State College. Jessa Lou enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to music, singing, and her church activities. Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ.

Jessa Lou is survived by three sons, Glen Monigold and wife, Kathryn of Pocatello, Idaho, Rolan Monigold and wife, Alexis of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and John Monigold of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lee.
