Jerri Leanne McConnell was born February 16, 1962, in Lakewood, California to Jerry and Nathalie (Robinson) Miers and passed away Monday, November 16, 2020, at Alliance Health Woodward Hospital having reached the age of 58 years and 9 months.

Jerri was raised and attended school in Weatherford.   On May 20, 1980, she married Ralph McConnell in Colony and made their home in Weatherford where they raised their five children. Jerri worked at Wal Mart and later went on to get her accounting degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2003 and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She earned her CPA license and worked for the Oklahoma Tax Commission as an auditor. Jerri enjoyed spending time with her family, her grandkids were the pride and joy of her life, coming only after her husband. She was selfless and dedicated her life to helping and taking care of others. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing and crocheting.

Jerri is survived by her mother, Nathalie Miers of Weatherford; her husband of 40 years, Ralph McConnell of their home in Weatherford; one son, Kenny McConnell of Weatherford; four daughters, Marsha (Jimmy) Moore of Tuttle, Lisa Jones and Clay Bruner of Weatherford, Mandi Bachlott of Weatherford; and Mindi Cornelsen of Weatherford; two sisters, Brenda Keeler of Oklahoma City and Deborah (Barry) Van Auken of Broken Arrow; and thirteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Miers.
