Memorial services for 63 year-old, Jeffery Earl Jones, a Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017, 2:00 P.M. at The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home in Weatherford, Oklahoma with Jim Hash officiating. Services will be performed under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Jeffery was born April 19, 1953 in Orange, California, to James and Dora Jean (Rainey) Jones and passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at his home in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Jeffery was raised in Dumas, Texas and attended school there as well. On November 16, 1973,

Jeffery married Donna Pierce and they made their home in Dumas. They followed the oil field where Jeffery worked as a production foreman. Through the years, they lived in various towns in Texas such as Dumas, Wheeler, and Amarillo, as well as living in California. In 1986, they moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma, later moving to Zapata, Texas. In 1997, they returned to Weatherford, OK and Jeffery retired from Coastal Oil and Gas. Jeffery enjoyed woodworking, trains, and old movies and was a member of the Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to Cal Farleys Boy Ranch.

Jeffery is survived by Donna Jones of Weatherford, OK; two sons, Nick Jones and wife, Cassie of Corn, OK and Travis Jones and wife, Jodi of Weatherford, OK; one daughter, Jennifer Lindamood and husband, Colby of Weatherford, OK; one brother, Chris Jones and wife, Sylvia of Idabel, OK; eight grandchildren; and Wanda Jones of Ashdown, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dora Jones; one son, Daniel Jones; and Pete Barton, who was like a dad to Jeffery.
