Funeral services for Jaunita Ruth Atteberry, 84 year-old Hydro, Oklahoma resident, will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the First Christian Church in Hydro, Oklahoma with Rick Dyson officiating. Burial will follow in Hydro Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Jaunita was born April 23, 1930 in Hydro, Oklahoma to George and Essie (Miller) Ringler and passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Maple Lawn Manor in Hydro, Oklahoma. She was raised and attended Hydro Public Schools. On June 27, 1950, she married James Ardean Atteberry in Wheeler, Texas and they made their home in Hydro, Oklahoma. Jaunita served as a waitress at various Hydro restaurants, including the Caravan Restaurant, and also babysat for family and friends. She enjoyed her grandchildren, reading, and playing bingo. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Hydro.

Jaunita is survived by three sons, James Atteberry and his wife, Joy of Orlando, Florida, Johnny Atteberry and his wife, Corky of Hydro, Oklahoma, and Jerry Atteberry and his wife, Marci of Hydro, Oklahoma; one daughter, Judy Poor of Hydro, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Ardean; thirteen brothers and sisters; two grandsons, Jaimie Atteberry and Lonnie Poor; and two granddaughters, Amber Dawn Poor and Jan Poor.
