Janice Ellen Johnson was born February 17, 1945, in Foss to Claude and Hazel (Hall) McLaughlin and passed away Monday, February 1, 2021, at home in Hydro, at the age of 75 years, 11 months and 14 days.

Janice was raised in Weatherford and Hydro and graduated from Hydro High School in 1963.  On June 4, 1962, she married Ronald Earl "Ron" Johnson and made their home in Hydro.  Janice and Ron owned and operated Johnson Peanut Company until she retired in 2007.   Janice enjoyed her grandchildren and spending time with friends and family.

Janice is survived by one son, Shaun Johnson of Hydro; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Harley McLaughlin and wife, Alma of Moore, Darwin Max McLaughlin of Boston Mills, Kansas, and Richard McLaughlin and wife, Julie of Weatherford; and one sister, Karen Wallace and husband, Don of Choctaw.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister, Nancy; and one son, Michael Johnson.
