Janice Rae Huckins born June 6, 1938, in Custer City, OK to John Franklin and Essie Hazel (May) Passmore and passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021, at River Valley Nursing Home in Clinton, OK having reached the age of 83 years, 5 months 2 days.

Janice was raised south of Thomas on the family farm. She attended Thomas High School, graduating in 1956. Janice took care of her parents and after her father's passing, she and her mother moved to Thomas.

She worked for the Thomas Hospital several years before retiring. Janice met and married Jimmy Huckins in Waxahachie, TX and they made their home in Thomas.  Janice enjoyed traveling to Branson, making quilts, her cats and spending time with family and friends.  She always had a smile and a ready laugh. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Janice is survived by her husband, Jimmy Huckins of their home in Thomas, OK; five nieces, Linda McGlothlin of Houston, TX, Carol Hager of Blanchard, OK, Beth Hollan of Colony, OK, Lisa Martinez of Midwest City, OK and Dawn Hollander of Enid, OK; and three nephews, Darryl Richardson of Clinton, OK, Frankie Passmore of Ruidoso, NM, and Curt Jones of Elk City, OK.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ed Merlin Passmore; and three sisters, Geraldine Goucher, Elizabeth Richardson, Eloise Jones and three in infancy.
