Funeral services Janice Arlene Caulkins, 65 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Friday, January 27, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with David Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Janice was born May 7, 1951, in Roswell, New Mexico to Arlene and Lucille (Lee) Smith and passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Janice was raised all over the United States, traveling with her father that was in the Air Force. In 1977, she moved to Weatherford where she met her future husband, Bob Caulkins. On June 12, 1980, they married in Las Vega, Nevada and made their home in Weatherford. Janice was a nurse and worked with Alzheimer patients. She enjoyed nursing and spending time with family and friends. Throughout the years Janice, along with her good friends Raelene Amen and Janella Bomhoff enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas, and sometimes they even allowed husbands. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers or Diabetes Research.

Janice is survived by three daughters, Candace Hamar of Hydro, Oklahoma, Melanie Maree of Michigan, and Tracy Khalaf of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one son, James Scott Owens of Ansbach, Germany; and one step-son, Bobby Caulkins of Weatherford, Oklahoma; six brothers, Wayland Ratcliffe of Arizona, Connie Ratcliffe of Washington, Donnie Ratcliffe of Arizona, Jeff Ratcliffe of Oklahoma, David Smith of Texas, and John Smith of Texas; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Dewayne; and one granddaughter.
