Janice was born on April 28, 1959 to Richard Dennis and Joyce Satoe in Lawton, Oklahoma and passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at her home in Thomas, Oklahoma having reached the age of 60 years, 6 months, 4 days.

Janice was raised in Carnegie, Tulsa, and Lawton. She attended Riverside Indian School in Anadarko, graduating in 1975. After high school she spent the summer of 1975 with her older sister Gay in Fairview, where she met the love of her life while waitressing. On August 25, 1975 she married Dorman Ball in Wichita Falls, TX and they made their home in Thomas where together they raised their family. Janice and Dorman had three children, Dorman "Ray", Marie "Peanuts" and Robert "Baby." Her love for the elderly led her to being an activity director at Thomas Nursing Center for many years, before concentrating her efforts on raising her family. She worked as a dental assistant and attended OU Dental School. Janice enjoyed spending time with her family, especially attending her grandchildren's activities. In retirement she opened SnoBallz, her snow cone stand in Sewell Park where she enjoyed serving the community and being the Meme of the park. She also enjoyed making jewelry, beading, sewing, and spending time outdoors fishing.

Janice is survived by her husband, Dorman Ball, of the home in Thomas; her children, Ray and Becky Ball, of Weatherford, OK; Marie and Bryan Frans of Thomas, OK; Robert and Melissa Ball of Concord, NC; one brother, Hank Satoe of Carnegie, OK; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Carolyn Hodges and Gaylyn Fite; two brothers, George Brownen and Carl Smith.
