James Allen Rasco was born January 18 ^th , 1958 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Eddie James Rasco and Virginia (Giddens) Rasco and unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, May 27 ^th , 2021 at his home in rural Hydro, Oklahoma.

Allen attended most of his schooling in Amarillo, Texas before moving and graduating from Coldwater High School in Coldwater, Kansas. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he worked in military surveillance as a photo processing specialist, during his service he was awarded the AF Longevity Service Ribbon, the AF Outstanding Unit Award and the AF Good Conduct Medal. After being released from the Air Force, he began working in the computer industry. He worked in the Oklahoma City and Dallas area for many years before retiring early due to health reasons. He then moved to Hydro, Oklahoma in 2020 to live with family. He enjoyed music of which he had a large collection, photography, drawing, watching movies of all kinds, and computers. He had a very unique talent with technology and could perform almost any task that was asked of him by his family and friends. Allen or "Unca Allen" was the laid back "cool uncle" who truly loved his nieces and nephews. He tried not to show it but they knew. He gave the most unusual gifts at Christmas and everyone wanted him to draw their name. He loved his family and would just show up and surprise them with random visits. He will be missed.

Allen is survived by his mother, Virginia Jesseph of Hydro, OK; four brothers, Gary Rasco and wife Beth of Garland, TX, Jeffrey Jesseph and wife Tena of Gould, OK; Jimmy Jesseph of LaVernia, TX, and Mike Jesseph of El Dorado, KS; one sister, Anita Eichelberger and husband Doug of Hydro, OK; a brother-in-law, David Lay of Choctaw, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Rasco; his stepfather, W.A. Jesseph; and his sister, Julie Lay.
